It’s the Holiday season
So whoop dee doo and dickory dock
And don’t forget to hang up your sock.
Cause just exactly at twelve o’clock
He’ll be comin down the chimney, down
If you haven’t already guessed, I love the Holidays! From the first painted leaf of fall through the glittering new year my inner child comes alive amidst the magic of the Holiday season.
It’s been a while since I last posted, but what better way to jump back into things than with the experience of being a new momma and the spirit of the Holidays?
As I’m writing this post, snuggling with my two month old baby boy, my soul is filled with love and joy. I am reminded of all the struggles, stress, and worry that went into creating such a perfect piece of my heart. My husband and I began this journey of life two years ago with In Vitro. Being able to love on this sweet baby is more than I’ll ever deserve. So this Holiday season I am more excited than ever to share it with my family and my son ( it still sounds so weird saying that).
I am also thankful for my husband and his health. He is currently taking part in a study for a better, more advanced drug (so far so good) to help stop the progression of cystic fibrosis.
This year my focus is on the spirit and joy of the Holidays. My favorite part has always been giving rather than receiving. So if you’ve made it this far in my word-vomit-of-a-post, I hope you’re Holiday is filled with peace, love, and joy. And I hope you are surrounded by the people (and fur people) that you love.
Love and joy come to you
And to you glad Christmas too
And God bless you and send you a Happy New Year
And God send you a Happy New Year.
