While part of my spirit is an astronomer, listening to the stars as they twinkle their stories, the other part of me is a mermaid. A free soul relying on the push and pull of the water’s current.
The richest depths of the ocean are as untouchable by man as our neighboring galaxies. How is it we are unable to traverse every sprinkle of ocean and sea on this sphere we call home, but are able to touch the far side of the moon?
With so many unanswered unknowns, how do we live aspiring to be only one thing? My being splits in two as I baffle over what lies beyond this earth, while my body profits from it’s wonderful treasures.
