Quote Me!

Here’s a fun little treat for y’all on this rainy FriYAY! So I participated in the 3 Quotes, 3 Days Challenge (Day1, Day2, Day3), and this little quote challenge is similar, but not (haha). Anyways, I was nominated to participate by the ever so lovely and all things wonderful, Chocolate Hun. Please, please, please before you get lost in your weekend fun, go take a look at her page and give her a follow! She is currently hosting a Blog Party and I know you all want to join in and promote your blogs-hint hint.

The guy responsible for creating this cool little quote game is Rory at A Guy Called Bloke & K9 Doodlepip. You guys should go check him out, too. Rory posted about why he created this game and he says this:

Everyone loves quotes right?

So I figured to introduce a bit of light hearted fun with this series. It’s simple:

Everyday I will pick a topic, post 2 quotes and nominate 3 bloggers, who in turn will post 2 quotes on that topic and nominate 3 bloggers of their own and let’s see how far we can take that topic for the day.

Here’s The Rules:

  1. Thank the selector
  2. Post 2 quotes for the dedicated topic of the day
  3. Select 3 bloggers to take part in this fun game!

Today’s Topic: Age, Aging, Aged

My Quotes:

Wrinkles should merely indicate where the smiles have been.

Mark Twain

So I just think this quote is so cute. I think it says a lot about how we should embrace our aging more than we do. I know people see wrinkles and think “Oh God, I’m getting old”. But age is only a number and you should take on all of its beautiful glory because you’ve earned the battle scares and the full heart of life that got you there!

I don’t believe in aging. I believe in forever altering one’s aspect to the sun.

Virginia Wolf

I love this quote as well because I believe age is just a number. you are only as old as you feel inside, in your heart. I also love this quote because it reminds us of how we live on this Earth. Sort of a grounding quote, no pun intended.

^^^ yes I have graced this post with a photo of little Jena to go with the theme.

And That’s it! I’m going to nominate

Lilac Sunset

Born Into The Wild Life

Moonlight and Macaroons

to hopefully join me in this fun little challenge. I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!
